- 01Material SelectionTimber is chosen by weight, grain direction and stiffness, then left to season.
- 02Shell ConstructionStave, ply or single-piece construction, decided by the voice the player wants.
- 03Bearing EdgeCut on the machine, finished by hand, checked against a flat plate.
- 04DrillingHardware positions are set to the individual shell, never to a shared template.
- 05FinishingOil, satin or gloss, built in thin passes with cure time between each.
- 06AssemblyLugs, hoops and throw-off fitted, seated and torqued evenly.
- 07TuningBrought to pitch, played in, then left to settle before it is touched again.
- 08Final InspectionMeasured, photographed, logged, and given its build number.
